If I'm being charitable, the judges' primary bias is how clean & smooth a run looks, rather than how good it is overall? Seems to be the case based on the ones they overscored

Yea seems that way. I have zero clue about any of it and from an uninformed spectator I definitely didn't think that the Americans run looked the sickest, but silver and bronze is nice

I think the key was to go 80% on the rails, 90% on the 1st two jumps and go for broke on the final jump.

The American was clean and had a couple nice jumps, but then had an incredible final jump.

Women's slopestyle qualification is also tonight, apparently

Pretty sure the women went 1st in Sochi, which is probably how it should be

Because watching that after this will be lol
Anyone with a cleanish run = instant medal
