I'll defend the RAIDS pick a little. There are definitely worst posters on SE, and that really isn't a question. However, the worst posters are generally confined to a single thread/low volume. RAIDS is consistently terrible and is a high volume poster. Take these two factors, and he become more annoying than even the worst lolstealers posters. There are other high volume posters that are probably worse (and probably banned), but recency bias.

RAIDS, when bad, is a uniquely unsatisfying type of bad. Idiots are idiots and heels are heels, both play a relevant forum role. They also tend to produce entertaining meltdowns. Bad RAIDS isn't an idiot and isn't a deliberate troll, he's a moderately intelligent guy on a forum full of many smarter people who literally sees (saw?) himself as the forum Socrates.

I will say that his actual content posts are generally at least tolerable and the ratio of content posts to **** posts has gone up dramatically in recent times. But they almost make the cryptic, "failed one-line/gif deconstruction of something someone else has actually taken the time to type out and post" **** more glaring, since it's really ****ing clear from his sincere posts that he does not have a brilliant reservoir of insight he's holding back.
