Let us ADD some work from MACROblab:
The key to this pick was that he's really just a gigantic douche.
Larry has excellently highlighted his work in the Geddy thread, but did miss how that thread was summarised by SE favourite, Empire Man:

Let's see Microbob's helpful travel tips @ work in the NHL thread:
A michigan poster said he was going to Ontario for a week, what should he make sure do to while he's there?

Seriously, Ontario is 400k freaking square miles. Texas is 269k and the continental US is 1.8M.
Saying you're going to "Ontario" for a few days is pretty meaningless. Toronto to Thunder Bay is about an 18 hour drive and you could actually go further than those far-away points.

It's not inappropriate to point out that a bit more detail on where in Ontario he is going if he wants some tips might help. There is a big difference between going to Pickle Lake, Ontario (norternmost town in Ontario accessible by road) vs. Toronto (which is in the same province but is a 26 hour drive away) v. Niagara Falls vs. Thunder Bay, etc.
GOD YOU ****ING DOUCHE
Let me help you out here. I live in Ontario so can post this with very reasonable confidence:
Parts of Ontario it would have been nice to help him out about what to see.
Parts of Ontario nobody in their right mind is ever going to visit because it's a goddamn abyss where nobody even ****ing lives.
Unfortunately being a condescending prick here doesn't mean MacroBlab's geography is exactly sound when discussing the New York Islanders:

I suspect they will change their name as well. Bring back the Brooklyn Americans!! ...real NHL team for one season...formerly the NY Americans...called themselves Brooklyn Americans even though they weren't actually playing in Brooklyn.

Microbob arguing peehs rulings (wrongly) for days on end in the NHL thread. God how are you a real person:

I think it is incorrect to say that Minneapolis did not host the event.
Minnesota is an incorrect answer because...yo...that ain't a city. But Minneapolis most certainly hosted the draft imo.

Seriously, St. Paul and Minneapolis were both listed as host cities which is a super-duper easy one to grade.
He wants to grade both of those questions incorrectly. His contest. Fine by me.

Yes he really thought he should be given a correct answer for Minneapolis holding the draft because some teams stayed there before going to the actual event in St. Paul.
Then made a couple dozen posts arguing about it. YOU WOULD HAVE LOST ANYWAY YOU MORON.
Think that's all I wanted to say. The fact that we have two mods already on our team shows our willingness to keep an open mind wrt BAD POSTING. Everyone is on our radar.
