However, at some point, his success with the Pats will show that those players were in fact NOT better than Woodhead. What I'm asking (and please try to follow along this time) is at what point does that happen? And just so I'm perfectly clear, I'm looking for an actual level of production for example 1500 total yards in a season or 3 consecutive seasons of above 1000 yards production.
Anyone have an answer for me?

2.) More importantly, the act is not the reason those calls are made. The ump sees the play and makes a mistake, not because the player is pleading his case or because he's acting but because he thinks that he made the right call. In this case, I think the acting by Jeter was a good part of the reason the ump made the call he did which is pretty shady to say the least. I wouldn't have a problem if Jeter just let the ump make the call and abided by the call.
Personally, I would have told the ump that it hit my bat and not me but I think I live by a higher level of fairness than most. I wouldn't be able to take first knowing that it was bull.
Jeter's charector took a hit, there's no doubt. Anyone that thinks otherwise is just being ridiculous.

That's all I'll say. I don't want to Troll another NY thread.

That's why it makes me mad I guess. Because being parents is such an important job and really the main reason I'm on this earth, and comparing being a parent to taking care of a dog is an insult.

Sports is entertainment and a distraction from real life. It's not important. It's not relevant to anything worthwhile. It's an escape and should be treated as such.
The other thing you have to understand is that every person is going to be coming here for a different reason so it's really impossible to judge who good posters are and are not because of the reason they come to the forum and the reason that others come to the forum. I enjoy banter and argument. Others do as well. The ones that have a good argument and good banter with me, I enjoy, even if they would be trolls to you.

As to your second point, completely agree. I don't have a problem people taking realistic shots at me. It's just that most people are not very good at it which allows me to pretty easily prove their wrong (most of the time) and I do admit when I'm wrong.
Arguing on the internet is fun for me. Arguing in real life is fun for me. Just the way I am and have always been. I am absolutely not a victim and have never complained about being one. However, I disagree that I'm a bad poster simply because I almost always get a response and most of the time, many responses. And to me, that means I'm bringing something worthwhile to the forum, even if people are annoyed by it but are still entertained.

You could have fooled me that your criticism wasn't my arguments. That's what you've made it about. Pretty much every time. If you had a problem with my rubbing it in (which is now a pretty low percentage of my posts) then maybe, just maybe, you should actually respond to those posts and criticize.
To each his own. I don't see any problem with talking smack on an internet forum. I can't imagine I'm hurting anyone by doing so. It's certainly juvinile but I kinda believe that you should never really lose that kid inside of you anyways. I hope my three year old never does.
Goodie is like getting an itch on your balls while you're hitting on a hot girl at the bar. He's constantly there, agitating you, ****ing with you, and there's nothing you can do about it. He's got you right where he wants you, when you are vulnerable and can't fight back. And when you finally sneak away to the bathroom to scratch your nuts, you return only to find the girl gone. And the itch returns within seconds.
Goodie: The itch you just can't scratch.
