I really like the GREEAR pick. Even though he's not as AIDS as the other posters taken so far, which is why people mocked it, he has a unique effect on a forum because his style and volume lowers the collective bar of posting. While most truly awful posters like Cinch and bdidd are just mocked or ignored, GREEAR makes the entire forum worse. He's a great piece to build around in this.

I think Epipen had a similar effect and is thus great value here. However, I think my #1 overall is still available.

The bdidd pick is overrated. As far as I know, most of his bad posting was contained to a single thread. Granted, it was an incredible display of awful posting, but bad posters like him that have no real impact on the rest of the forum are a dime-a-dozen in this. I think in the first round, you want a poster who has more of a widespread effect and makes everyone around him worse.

Who's a bigger criminal....the guy who gets caught stealing beer from wal-mart 9 times over a 3 year span, or the guy who gets caught raping little boys, 1 time?

The metric I'm trying to use is this:

GOAL: Create a hypothetical forum that is populated by posters so terrible that it is inconceivable that: (1) any meaningful conversation could ever take place, about anything; (2) any right-minded individual would ever intentionally become involved in that forum; (3) the cumulative self-awareness of the entire group could ever exceed the awareness of a single reasonably mentally-healthy individual; (4) any poster's jimmies would ever be unrustled; or (5) any poster could ever be complimented on any aspect of their critical thinking, communication, or humility.

Posters like Bdidd have participated in other conversations without being worthless (even though he's horrible). It is a different skill set to be incapable of doing anything but spew EbolAIDS all over everything you touch.

This standard makes Greear a terrible pick, and renders several others mediocre.
