This is almost entirely due to selection bias and not talent prerequisite. The skills required to play an elite NFL QB are not the same ones required for CFB let alone HSFB. In fact, you'd be lucky to ever get a chance playing QB
at all since the lower levels of football are filled with ******* dad coaches locking their talentless spawn in at QB.
And even if you get past that, often the coaches are just too ****ing dumb. Remember, Brady was a backup at every level of football: JV, varsity, college, pro. He split time with Drew Henson (lolol) for two years at Michigan. Tough to argue it requires the most talent when no one can even identify that talent before these mfers take live reps in an NFL game. Also recall that he was drafted by the Montreal Expos who thought he could be an all-star level catcher. So it's only by multiple stroke-of-luck inflection points that he ever becomes an NFL starter.
