You're cherry picking because Malone and Barkley didn't win ever. LeBron beat a Spurs team that was probably the best team besides the '16 Warriors not to title. He stopped Durant from titling in '12 - the Thunder were favored in that series. He ended the Pistons elite team.
Jordan faced good teams in the Finals. LeBron has faced multiple teams better than the best team Jordan ever faced. Beating the 73 win Warriors last year is a greater accomplishment than beating the Malone Jazz. Just because the Malone Jazz never titled otherwise doesn't matter.
i agree with all of it, but lebron did lose vs worst team that jordan beat, right?
Be has it may, lot of HOF have no ring because of Jordan , whether he faced greatest team ever in the finals or not in the history of basketball, Jordan beat them in any case and maybe the reason less super team existed in the league was "maybe?" the league had better balance.
But either way, Jordan road to the final was much tougher than what lebron faced.
And that should count for something as well.
And that was not just for the years he won but when he faced some of the greatest team ever like the celtic and pistons before reaching the finals.
For jordan reaching the finals earlier in his career was like him make 2 finals(celtics & pistons) if he could beat them before reaching the real final(lakers) !
I mean Lebron is great and i guess no one diminshes his accomplishmeent even if he lived in the weak a$$ east but we should give the same consideration for Jordan facing some team that are weaker than lebron finals team but jordan face a lot tougher competition in the east.
