Reason I don't believe that to be true is how soft the league is now in comparison. An often regular foul on Jordan then could be a flagrant now. So I don't think a soft but talented warriors team could blow out that Jordan team. Too much physical compete.

Teams in the NBA play the way they play because the rules are what they are. If the NBA changed the rules, the players would change the way they played. Any team that got to play another NBA team from a different era would have an initial advantage if it is was allowed to play by its "home" rules, but it would dissipate quickly.

I would add that I am mystified by anyone who preferred the WWE-style NBA (Bad Boys, Riley's Knicks) to the current version of the game.

To each his own. I prefer a league where men can be men. The compete and determination to win at all costs got away from the NBA. That's why the product now isn't as good as it was in the 90's (along with some other factors).

Mo Williams never got out of the second round with Bron, so he didn't drag him too far into contention. Also, Mo always gets a bad rap as being some terrible player. Dude was averaging 17/6 before ever coming to Cleveland. Obviously, that's not a superstar or anything, but he could play.

I honestly don't remember Lebron being ripped too much until he went to the Heat. He was ripped for that for sure. Then when he choked the Mavs final -- he started being ripped hard for not being clutch.
