Having just read most of the thread (I'm at the beginning of 2016 finals) I really gotta say, both sides are doing the exact same thing. I quoted and bookmarked a bunch of posts but I'll probably opt out of multiquotebombing. I don't want to make a fallacious appeal to moderation so I'll admit, the Lebronites have an slight edge over the Jordanites in making sensible arguments (plus it's hard to tell who is knowingly exaggerating or joking) but for the most part it's all the same subjective, inconsistent and uninformed nonsense.
Again, i'll make a list if necessary, but,

and the need for them to try to knock down LeBron's achievements out of trying to prop MJ up. It's dumb & unnecessary. Both are absolutely incredible players. It's very clear from an objective standpoint they're 1 & 2 in some order.
3 things:
1. Saying MJ had multiple HOFers and LBJ had scrubs and bums and terrible players IS trying to knock down MJ's "achievements out of trying to prop" LBJ up. It's exactly that, however,
2. That's perfectly fine. We're talking about the "greatest" of "all time" so, like, the entire point IS extreme criticism that borders on nit-picky and irrelevant. Otherwise why are we here? Even so,
3. I get where you're coming from and here's why: the annoyance/aggravation/etc you feel in defending LBJ is what I feel about every other player to play in the league (not just my man-crush Kyrie) and especially those in the position of suiting up as an LBJ teammate. With the level of accessible talent in the modern era, every player that even signs a 10-day and puts in a few workhorse minutes is such an amazingly good basketball player it's hard to even describe, not to mention guys with an average and non-standout career. Yes, even the current 76ers. One of the cornerstones of your LBJ argument is to call these people scrubs as if they don't and haven't consistently proven why they deserve to be the fraction of a fraction of a % of basketball players in history to suit up for an NBA game. It's just madness IMO.
p.s. But yeah, the MJ teams were ridic stacked. 4 HOFers if we consider Kerr and Kukoc getting nods for their unique contributions. I'm surprised it took so long for this to become common knowledge. We were talking about this 20 years ago in the middle of the "MJ=God among men" fervor. 20 years from now it will be the same thing with Kyrie et al when it's realized (potential hot take incoming) he's the.best teammate LBJ or MJ had. The only time in finals history and 5th in playoff history when 2 players scored 40+ is a start.
