Jordan never needed a game 7 to hold the trophy at the end, it's sweet that LeBron is having the series of his life instilling so much optimism amongst the title-less Cleveland fan base, but whatever happens Sunday is far from cementing him as better than Jordan

MJ did lose in 7 to the Pistons...the defacto finals that year (Pistons beat Portland 4-1). MJ also started his playoff career 1-9 including getting swept twice against the Celtics. Lebron should avoid going to the finals when he has scrub teams or too many injuries to his team.

No he had his own 72 win team that finished their title season a tidy 87-13. Also this mythical unicorn 73 win team has already lost 8 times in the playoffs and should they lose game 7 will always be viewed as the outlier in the all time team rankings (see ne patriots from a few years ago).
