I have heard Jordan is a much better craps shooter and can really heat up and hit the points when it matters

I love how shooting is important. Yes the ability to hit a long 2 is a very valuable skill.........personally what matters is how efficient a player is. Lebron, for his career, is very efficient for the bulk he's putting up--more so than Kobe/MJ. Curry this year was amazing but it's normally improbable that a jump shooter leads the league in TS% which Curry did this year and he did it by a significant amount.

Lebron should be treated like a 4 and it's nice that he can shoot but it isn't his best skill.

Just shows how amazing he was in his prime. court vision and bbiq he has now with even more ridiculous athleticism, plus a 3 year stretch of shooting ~40% from 3 on decent volume. Insane how underrated he is.

I like how the one thing left you can criticize Lebron for becomes the most important skill to have as an NBA player, and he was still very good at that for a portion of his career.

I'm not trying to incite everyone. Just trying to show there may be some exaggeration/ridiculous love for him where other players getting very little respect. He is a great player(and he's having a great series, this series sets up well for him though because of how small Warriors are, especially even smaller with Bogut out and iggy hurt, but i could see an argument for him winning mvp even in losing) and may be even as high as number 2 on all time list. But also i could see an argument for other greats that could possibly move into 2 and drop him down even more than that. Being able to hit the jumper isn't the only thing but just kinda nuts to think goat when any defender can just be like "alright go ahead take the jumper. And he can't knock it down on any consistent level, especially no where near the consistency of many other greats of the game.

If you defend Lebron you just let him take the jumper and he isn't gonna make it enough to be considered good let alone deadly. Where Jordan was unstoppable. If you give him the jumper he owns you, if you contest he'll go around you and own you. In fact if you contest he can still jump higher and shoot over you lol, and if you try to stop the drive then he'll just get an and 1 on top of making. That's some goatness.

yeah, Jordan had a mid range game that made him, arguably, a better scorer than Lebron, otoh Lebron does other things that Jordan couldn't. Better passer, better rebounder, more valuable defensively, better off the ball, etc

Well its definitely true that they are positives, since they aren't commonly associated with lebron. That's how we know they are positives. But lebron hasn't raped anyone so it's hard to know how to feel about it, if it makes you a better basketball superstar or not.
