I do hope that we use players in that age group. In order to really compete though you need a core of players in the 23-27 age range. Pulisic will be in that age range during the next World Cup but do we have anyone else that will be good enough to make a difference or are we still going to be playing Beasley and Dempsey?

The problem with the academies is they are developing teams. They are not developing international level players. I’ve watched quite a few academy games and it’s like watching robots play. They all play the exact same way with very very little creativity and imagination in the games.
