Watching this MEX/HON match. I'm assuming the optimal outcome would be...

Draw>>>Mexico Win>>>>>>>>Honduras win

Mexico win is probably best. Other game is more important, where we definitely want CRC to beat Panama.

Anyone else hear GOAT say in his post-game interview that they are coming back from Mexico with a win?

Is Dallas Trinidad and Tobago in this analogy?

Tough to get so excited about an 18 year old because it's happened around here so many times (Jozy and Chicharito being the two main examples) but at this point I've just given up. Pulisic is just too good. The entire team sheet should be built around him. If we can find a set of CBs we are going to be good.

Not taking any action against Mexico on 2 days rest in the Azteca after playing pretty much the first team in Colorado. Will actually probably pump on Mex. I'm seeing 8/15 Mex win on betfair available. I like it.

Additionally, Panama/Honduras is maybe the biggest non US game of the cycle at this point. Draw is probably the clear best result. I actually think a Panama win would be second best as we have them at home and have to go to Honduras. Should be a classic thug game though. That Panama away draw actually looks pretty big at this point.

Color me unimpressed with the AFC teams. I think 4th CONCACAF is not going to be a dog in that game unless Japan ****s the bed down the stretch.

The nice thing is that so far the rest of the team seems to recognize this and is happy to give him the ball/get open for him/not get in his way, which doesn't always happen (Carlos Tevez, I'm looking in your direction).

My point about Dempsey can go eat a D is that I think it was BS the way he reacted to Arena. I wonder if he woulda called out Klinsi to his face like that. I think it went beyond a disagreement that he was coming out, which you can admire in any striker. It was nearly a hissy fit and disrespectful.

Hey clint, you are still the #1 striker on USMNT. Get over it. You had a day where you didn't find the net.

Did ya score? no you didn't, so get off the field and put on your big boy pants and get it next time.

Just think it's a real bad look to come off the field like he did. show some respect for the coach. Don't be a Diego Costa.

It also might've been a clear indication that Arena wanted him to start in Azteca fwiw. Maybe that wasn't communicated prior? Who knows. I can't imagine Deuce wants to be benched in that one and having him go 90 two days prior 6 months from a not-so-mild heart condition might've ruled that out altogether.
