I'd love to respond to that but for the sake of the thread I'm not going to

Can you both just argue with each other on Skype or something, I've gotten about 15 complaints about how miserable this thread is in the last week and like 10 TODAY about TODAY'S POSTS and while it's not clear that I can just ban you for completely dominating the thread with a debate no one else even cares about, I absolutely am obligated to tell both of you to just stop talking to each other in this thread.

Jesus christ it's awful in here, engage with literally ANYONE else on ANY other topic, please.

Not much else to talk to these days unfortunately. Lot of the good regs are long gone or participating far less way before LFC started posting heavily in here again. Back in 2014 when LFC pulled this **** he got slapped down hard and it was the end of it. Now, it gets brought up by him after and during every single ****ing usmnt game. My jimmies are very rustled by his bull****.

Fine, I'm pretty sure we have adequately established across multiple threads that you think LFC is dumb and he thinks you're dumb and you think MLS is great and he thinks MLS is trash.

Why can't that be the end of it.

I should not have asked a question. That is the end of it.

Bradley always over performed relative to his talent level, which was way below Dempsey's, and insufficient to play in Europe.

If Argentina beats Chile who's to say we weren't the second best team in the tournament

Pure business. They sold him for more than they paid for him. Because of the US market, there's money to be made on players like him.

Don't get me wrong. I like Bradley in many ways. But he's not technical enough to thrive in Italy or Spain.

hmmm, weird how he thrived in germany and italy if he wasn't technical enough to do that.

Who would be available/realistic to replace him?

Right now he's not because he's fallen off a cliff, but when he was playing for Herenveen, Mochengladbach, Chievo and Roma he was absolutely technical enough. Not only did he thrive in Italy but he was playing for one of the top clubs in the country.

Well they need someone to shepherd them through quals if he is indeed gone and that someone has no time to learn on the job. It's a **** situation.

You're gonna hear Kreis, Arena, Ramos, and Bradley mentioned for the rest of this cycle on an interim basis and you're likely also going to hear unrealistic names from people who want a better respected coach: Pellegrini for one.

I would like to nominate myself. Here is why I am just as qualified as klinsy to be our coach:

-I was an (one of two) assistant coach of a 7-8th grade boys soccer team for 4 years.
-Under no circumstances will beckerman ever put on a USA#1 jersey and/or training top.
-Under no circumstances will wondo ever put on a USA#1 jersey and/or training top.

JK leaving seems a little strange right now but it wouldn't surprise me.

Roy Hodgson will probably be available soon.

I kid, I kid.

I mean... a decent Football Manager career save and you've got my vote.

Guys, JK has been talked up as the new manager for like 5 different clubs. Every single time he basically lolnahs it as nothing and I expect the same here.

Anyway, wouldn't be Ramos or Bradley. Kreis sort of makes sense, but he's not even in the game right now. At this point I think he's more of a future option, like after a few years as Atlanta FC boss. Still possible given that in the scenario of JK being gone that he'd be available for a 2 year stint.

Berhalter, Arena or any number of other names could be 2 year guys. Hardly worth the time to speculate on a non-American name since I just think it's super unlikely that we go that route with the Hex starting in 6 months. We are a very complicated program and it takes time to learn who we are. A new foreign coach is only an option at the start of a cycle for me.

if he leaves offer the atletico madrid coach a bazillion dollars he would be perfect for our talent level/where we are in international football
