1. was Jozy fouled or did he dive? just curious what people think.

2. it should really be 1-0 Guadeloupe. Not encouraging.

3. altidore is 21, some of what people write here is totally ridiculous.

4. dislike wondoloski starting. do not understand, but perhaps Bradley knows something we don't.

I've probably seen a goal struck harder, but I don't remember it.

the problem being is that he has regressed a bit from where he was even two years ago. Goal that he just scored withstanding, his passing and hold up play is lacking and he isn't a real predatory finisher (and he never has been)

Such a fantastic goal from Jozy, who really was poor against Panama. I don't necessarily disagree with what the Jozy haters were saying, it's just that he's still the best we got. That's how terrible our striker depth is right now.

I <3 the Lichaj decision. He justified it so far by doing extremely well to deflect that shot onto the crossbar.

I can't see Jozy as an impact sub really so I can see why Bob didn't start Agudelo.

I would have liked to see Edu for Jones but oh well.

Gogogogo. Let's get a second goal so we can relax.

Agree with all of this, but I still see a lot of potential. While his hold up play is lacking, he does draw a lot of fouls, and for a team like us (whose main danger is on sets often), that's really valuable.

Unacceptable to be playing like this against this team.

I don't even think its fair to say he has regressed, he has played so few games in the past year could just be a sample size issue.

yeah, i'm with stakman 100%, Jozy has regressed and has some huge holes in his game, but he also has enough moments like the goal in this game that at 21 there's no way I'd write him off. Especially given the US' lack of depth at the forward position and its reliance on set pieces.

So is it just me or is Guadeloupe the best team we've played so far?

but, I'm really not sure that's the case tbh. Aguedelo could be real good up there and I'd love to see more of teal. Granted, we don't have much at the striker position, but I also think that bradley needs to start blooding some other guys as well
