Lovely move tbf. Great cushioned layoff and clever finish.

Both goals were nice looking at least, if it hasn't been a great match.

lol karate kid Mix

Morales has to get out of this lineup, left side can neither defend nor attack

Damn, Jozy goal would have been nice. Didn't realize Fletcher got hurt.

Pretty good first half imo, thought Bedoya looked especially sharp. Was some more evidence, if we needed it, that Wondolowski doesn't have the touch or athleticism to cut it vs. non-CONCACAF opposition.

Pretty meh on Morales. Agree with commentator that Bedoya has been good.

Difficult game for Jozy, although he did well on the goal and on the one he hit the post. He's always made the most sense to me as a lone forward with midfield players who like to run past him like Landy, MB90, Deuce, etc. If you're going to play him with a strike partner, having it be Wondo doesn't make any sense.

I'd like to see him play with either a straight pace guy or someone whose going to operate underneath him... <3 Jurgen but pairing him with a player with Wondo's profile seems crazy. Especially because Wondo's too old/not good enough to be in the plans for the important stuff in this cycle.

Some good stuff at times but man, Morales wasn't even out there. Besler just not the same these days. Chandler looks like a guy who still doesn't have a "place" in this team.

Agreed. Reasonable sign that we're still controlling the game (albeit not vs. the best ROI side in history) with that strike partnership up top and with Morales not pulling his weight.

Well, not sure that Bobby is going to be an improvement. Theoretical upside though

So, I don't know how to break this to Jurgen, but the worst players on this team the last week have been the folks who play professionally in Germany.

Fabian, Morales, Chandler, all woof.
Bobby Wood's got a clear case of the League 2's.

Unleash Jordan Morris and Rubin!!!

Ikes, would you agree that your opinion of the relative strength of the usa v ireland squads a few months ago was a bit questionable?

didn't see the game

Did Jordan Morris get any burn? Watched him play at Stanford and I don't really know anything but he looks pretty good and it would be exciting to have some legit young talent to look forward to growing in to the next WC
