How much do you guys know about Mike Grella?

He's just joined my team Motherwell in Scotland on loan from Leeds. Played for your youth teams but not had full cap yet

Never heard of him, doubt he's on the national team radar at all.

Yeah I doubt it as well otherwise he wouldn't be at Motherwell. Is supposedly a promising talent though, just hasn't had the game time at Leeds. Just heard an interview from him there and his ambition is to push his way into the Nation team.

USA-Chile not on ESPN or FSC. It is on Telefutura though, Saturday night. Will Chile be playing their WC system, 3-3-1-3, or have they made changes since then?

His move has fell through as he's already played for two teams this season. What kind of a stupid rule is that! aaarrrgggg

Not sure which article I read but it implied that it believed Chile would stay with the 3-3-1-3 formation.

Should be fun, even if its only on a Spanish Channel

Bielsa will only play 3-3-1-3 if we play 4-4-2.

If we a 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-2-3-1ish thing, Bielsa will probably go 4 in the back.

He's pretty fanatical about a spare man at the back, or at least he was in the WC (according to ZM).

I like Mike Grella. Probably not going to be a big National Team guy but you never know.

Not trolling at all... but I find it a bit amazing that a CONMEBOL power wouldn't have its friendlies broadcast in its own country.

we do but its delayed. The channel that has the rights decided to broadcast a music festival instead, its probably going to have higher ratings since we are not playing with our best players. Summer Music festivals are very important in Chile, I dont give a **** about them but most people do.
Also we arent a CONMEBOL power, we just have a good generation with a good coach but we were dead last in the 2002 qualifiers and 7th in 2006.

As for the USA, Fox is out of contract with whoever they need to be in contract with to broadcast this. And ESPN has a contract to televise x number of USA games and a Chile friendly didn't make the cut, and so we get espn3 and spanish tv and w/e else.

I want to see the 3313 so hopefully our formation accommodates that.

Looks good to me. Would rather have Agudelo or Bunbury up top and Wondo on the right, but whatever.

Apparently Mix has been balling in camp so far.

Also would be nice to see Sean Johnson in goal, but Rimando is obviously better right now.
