Lol that's not a foul. Jozy beasted him like he always does.

We've been poor (both sides really), just no rhythm anywhere.

How does Spector still get a game?

Boring half. We weren't good.

Jones was the best player but that's just because everyone was so poor. I'd really like to see Dempsey and Benny at least, to bring a little creativity.

I'd like to see Altidore and Onyewu get a full 90 since they're not getting games at club level.

No problem getting Edu off (since he's playing constantly for Rangers) and maybe sliding Holden central (or Benny or Dempsey).

Something like this:

------------------Jozy (EJ)----------------
Benny-----------Holden-------------Dempsey
-----------Jones--------Bradley-------------

It would add some much needed creativity and it's what I'd like to see us doing (4-2-3-1 with Jones and Bradley holding and Edu at CB) going forward.

Lame first half

I'd almost prefer we go back to the empty bucket if our offensive scheme is going to be pass around the back and then play a long ball to Jozy. So terrible to watch.

Also, its scary how uncomfortable the US looks with the ball. Really need Dempsey on the pitch, as he is completely fine with having the ball at his feet.

**Heath Pearce has looked decent, if only he could be consistent for the USMNT we would have one answer for the shaky back line.

Back to the bucket. With Jones/MB (midfield partnership of the future? Or at least the next few years) in the middle, Dempsey and Holden on the wings and EJ/Jozy up top.

Jozy seems to have pulled a hammy.

Jones plays such a lovely weighted ball over the top.

Good performance for Lichaj so far. I like what I've seen.

jozy really needed to do much better with that header. There hasn't been much in this match and better placement was needed

He just seems to have that little bit of swagger in the middle of the park that I can't remember us having like ever.

WTF at all these heavy tackles late in the game?

Also Lichaj gets

Two thumbs up for Jones (who was really really good) and Lichaj (who I liked a lot as well). Pretty much everyone else ranged from meh to bad. Not a particularly good performance but it could have been worse.

Not sure if you guys watched Two Escobars or not but Leonel Alvarez was clearly visible as someone on the Colombian bench. Kind of a shocking reminder of 1994.

What the **** was Benny doing all second half? Both Jones and Bradley got pissed at him for trying to play as some kind of 3rd center mid and leaving the right side of the field completely empty. All he did was clog **** up.

Not cool Benny, not cool.

just caught up on the last two friendlies... LOVING Jones, he looks great out there and gets all over the field. seems like thats the consensus in the thread too.

Had enough of Eddie Johnson, i dunno how he's starting to get more play time at Fulham, he botched every possession he got involved in.

Injuries to Zamora and the Belgian forward they signed. Fulham fans aren't best pleased either.
