Currently in the UEFA Nations League competition, Wales has a record of 0 wins, 3 losses and a draw. They have conceded NINE goals in 4 matches.

In all 3 major competitions in 2021-22 (Europe 2020, WC Qualifying, Nations League) they do not have a single victory against a team currently ranked in the top 25. Their "signature" wins in last year were 1-goal victories against Ukraine (27), Czech Republic (33) Austria (34). Against top competition like Belgium, France, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands. their record is: 0 wins, 2 draws, 6 losses with 6 goals scored, and 18 conceded. I think you're seeing ghosts - Just because they got a draw v. Belgium, doesn't mean they are anywhere near that class.

When they take the field v. USMNT in 4 months, Wales will not the better team (although they are clearly the more experienced). Sure, they might beat us, but "kick our ass"? Please.
I fully expect us to get a result.

Love the Qatar schedule. 4 games every day.

We play the final game of 4 opening day.

France hasn't won in 4 either, but nobody cares about these games and everyone is exhausted. They don't matter at all.

The only real counterpoint is that in the heat in Qatar in Dec everyone will also be exhausted

People say the US will get its ass kicked in every World Cup the US plays in. Even in 2010 I saw a lot of comments saying England will crush the group and easily beat the US. And in every World Cup opposing fans look at our roster and say it looks weak and doesn’t scare them.

Southgate being bad isn't going to change overnight

Keep the excuses rolling for England, it's delicious

not sure why usa#1 is bothering to field an actual lineup 2nite. the conditions & field are borderline unplayable.

Hub? Germany and France went their first 7 games without winning as well. Are you saying both of them are bad teams/coaches?

Or is it more it's games the players absolutely don't want to be playing after many have put in 4000+ minutes in their seasons and have preseason for next year in 3 weeks?

Whatever that was last night is not something we should be bothering with. I could maybe see if it was a WCQ year but there is no reason to be playing in that environment with a World Cup 5 months away. LOL Nations League

No World Cup games in Nashville, cincy, Indy or Chicago leaves a big part of the US with no games close to them. All the US host cities are on the coasts except KC, ATL & the 2 in Texas.

Don't non-coastals think soccer is gay anyway? They can host the competitive eating world cup

"A big part of the US" by geography, not by population. Chicago is the only miss here.

As someone who lives less that 1.5 hour from each stadium I'm certainly not complaining but having NY (aka NJ) AND Philly is pretty ridiculous. I'll be at alllllllll the games though

And wasn't the Chicago mayor or someone like nah we don't want it?

These tickets are gonna be astronomical prices bc USA#1 aren't they? Soccer is massive here unlike 94 when most knew u10 travel soccer as the peak

I've been to USMNT games in Ohio, Tennessee, Texas & Tennessee and occasionally you will see someone carrying a rainbow flag as they are confused and think it is some kind of gay event, but that is no different than the people who hear soccer game and think they have to wear a soccer jersey to get in so they wear their barca, man U or Juve jersey.
