the actual similarities between soccer and hockey are both are really all about possession and shot attempts. you don't score without the ball. random counterattack goals are not a legitimate long term strategy.
This is true of hockey because of the salary cap and teams having similar skill level. You have *no idea* what you are talking about here.

Lille won the league last year over PSG.
Atletico won the league over Madrid/Barca.

You've never seen a minute of a Simeone side in your life have you?

jk Jordan Morris sucks way too much to score a brace against even the worst team in CONCACAF who is playing something close to the A-Team

I really would find it funny to have Prizm watch a Atletico v Barca game any time from the last decade. I think Simeone has a winning record vs them and it's a huge contrast in styles. You absolutely can win leagues, champions leagues and world cups with "defensive" football if you have a world class coach.

I'm obviously not a Mourinho fan but the Inter tie vs Barca was the best coaching I've ever seen. Inter had 24/% possession (early red didn't help) vs prime Barca, yet were always in control.

The us tends to **** the bed in road games in concacaf and Mexico is fairly good (I know recent results go against that point). I feel a tie at mexico would be a victory for this US team even though they have fared well against Mexico in recent matches.

I just want this last 3 game cycle to be fairly simple where they don’t need a result like a W in the last match. Reyna is back this weekend for Dortmund which is a good sign for the US in the last 3 matches. Reyna is a beast.
