that Jozy miss is really, really bad. saw the slo-mo at half. He does all the not-so-easy work to get dead center on goal with no pressure from either his right or left, and with the keeper spread eagle.. and he does that

Nah bro, Zardes and Jozy are just unlucky. Keep putting them out there! You'll see!

Nah just unlucky. Jozy finishes that as often as Messi. Just got unlucky that time.

Thought FC Dallas academy GOAT who is definitely gonna move to Europe soon Pomykal is a lock to be super elite there?

Yea this is my big thing. It's amazing we have people itt and USSF who watch that and think he's pretty good, but he's obviously not. This is the time to try out different guys there. As much as we're ripping on guys like Christian Roldon I like that they were brought in and given a chance (though not necessarily in the final) and now we know they're obviously not good enough and can move on. I can see how this is a bit hypocritical because I obviously don't want a roster of MLS guys, but Michael BRadley is clearly not the future so if we're not going to play an A-team and really go for the GOld CUp then play anyone else there instead who might be in the picture for qualifying

yeah super-subbing is even more insulting than a start, so the remuneration should be increased

Tyler Adams should replace Bradley. Screw Gregg’s rb experiment with him. Also, I’m excited to see Sargent and Weah back in the group. Maybe even call up some of the other better players from the U-20’s like Soto and yeah Pomykal. I’m not calling either of those guys “super elite” but they are better than the old guard of Bradley and Altidore/Zardes.

Where are those xG numbers coming from?

Yeah I’m a longtime lurker lol and not anyone’s alt account. I don’t think MLS guys are the answer right now but we need to hope some of these younger MLS guys get a look overseas to develop. If we can get 10-15 more over there in the next few years then maybe one or two might turn out by 2022 or 2026.

SCENES in Mexico City. Thought this win wouldn't move the needle much, but I underestimated Mexico. I figured prizm would appreciate the update.

They're a very proud Nation.. even a victory over a minnow like the USA will cause riotous celebrations

The Fox Soccer Tonight crew did their show from Soldier Field, and were drowned out by the Mexico fans that stood near the show's set and chanted forever.

FC Dallas alone has produced a handful of quality young players. Just need 4-5 more quality MLS academies then start sending those kids over to Europe when they hit 18-20. Hopefully by 2026 the squad is composed of guys playing in good Euro leagues.

I'm not complaining about the result, I was entertained, but maybe the idea of simulating this game over 10 or 100 or 1,000 trials is beyond you, but thats what the whole "luck" terminology means.
Messi misses goals against a level of competition that altidore doesn't even know.
