If they wait long enough nobody will notice when they give Bruce Arena another spin

even worse, the USSF supposedly didn't take Lopetegui up on at least an interview saying that they were too far along in the process. Same as it ever was, same as it ever was..............................

Imagine if, like, The Rockets didn't have a head coach for over a year. How much of a laughing stock would they be? This is the only team I truly LOVE and I'm embarrassed to be a fan.

Cool. We get a coach who has never won anything from the 84th best professional league in the world.

Onward and upward.

How many times can you put me down
Till in your heart you realize
If you choose to criticize,
You choose your enemies
Everything that I say and do
In your eyes is always wrong
Tell me where do I belong, but managing the National Team,
In a sick society?

Look at yourself instead o' looking at me
With accusation in your eyes
Do you want me crucified
For my profanity 1-6-3?

-Gregg

I’m not a huge soccer guy other than following the national team so maybe he’s an up and comer or something that I’ve never heard of. But WTF???? We just hired a MLS coach with a .500 record? Are you ****ting me?

From the article

Berhalter will become the 37th coach in USMNT history and the youngest since Steve Sampson in 1995. The New Jersey native has long been viewed as the favorite to land the job and has close ties to U.S. Soccer. His brother Jay is the chief operating officer for the federation.

Ah nepotism to boot. Lol the steve Sampson mention. He was at the helm for our 32nd place finish out of 32 teams at France 98, but we were obvs. in that tournament at least

You've said that twice now. Care to elaborate on why he's "good?"

I'm genuinely curious. Because nothing from his resume really stands out as good. But I don't know much about him.

Columbus absolutely is not one of the bigger soccer markets in the US and he has a 38% win percentage with only a +6 GD in 192 matches at the helm. None of that can really get one excited

I'd kill for a 38% win percentage in the hex instead of 25...
