Game was 45 minutes from my house and my wife is Brazilian and neither of us could be bothered to go. Didn't even watch it live, just putting it on now lol

We know what we knew. McKennie and Yedlin are ready. Some guys aren't ready but probably will be this cycle (Adams) Some guys aren't ready but may be eventually (Miazga, Robinson, Steffen, Weah) Some guys are what they are at this point and are cogs that won't kill you but won't help you (Brooks, Arriola, Acosta) and some guys just aren't ever going to be quality enough (Trapp, Wood, Zardes, Roldan)

I feel comfortable with McKennie, Pulisic, Yedlin, and Adams for the upcoming cycle. Nobody else on the entire roster gives me a positive feeling. Biggest need is probably two of Brooks/CCV/Miazga/etc. to turn into consistent, international quality CBs. We're going to see a lot more of Bradley, Altidore, Villafaña, Omar, Nagbe. Be prepared emotionally.

Sargent is the wild card. If he's 75% of what he could be then he slots up top in a few years and stays there for a decade. Still, we've been through this before (Altidore, Wood, Salgado, Bunbury, Davies, Eddie Johnson, Agudelo)

I thought Brooks and Miazga looked promising. Brooks battled injuries all last year but I thought he looked solid before that.

I see no benefit to having any of those old guys come back to the team other than maybe Altidore but he’ll probably just get injured right away. In my opinion they provide little to no upgrade over anyone we saw last night. Keep giving the young guys minutes.

This game is downright disrespectful in how meaningless it is

we've got our new General Manager(former GM of some 3rd division Dutch side, and crap player for joke Men's National teams past) closely scrutinizing every touch. That is not meaningless. It's meaningless mindlessness.

Keller and the other cat just tearing this team to shreds with their halftime analysis. That bodes well

Why the hell is Wil Trapp the golden boy for Sarachan? He hasn’t done anything special in any appearances that I’ve noticed. Maybe he’s one of those hustle/blue collar guys that coaches love or something but he should be a bench player at best.
