Earnie Stewart interviewing for the GM job. Not sure what his quizzling potential is but at least he has both Euro and MLS pedigree of running a show. Not necessarily a great one, but yeah. At least he knows something. A better potential hire than pretty much any other American.

Here's a tiny flag of positivity: DeAndre Yedlin has been one of Newcastle's best players this season and has played damn near every match in the league. He's a crucial piece for next cycle and looks like he can really provide the attacking overlap this team SORELY lacked for the last... 15 years? Since Tony Sanneh? Pair him with a MF who can defend a bit and that could be a really solid duo for next cycle to give Pulisic some much needed support. Especially since our striker situation is so dire. Defense could actually become a strength. Lots of talent in the guys in their early 20s. Should hit the high points of their development curve coming well soon.

He's been great and on a team that has really overachieved this season.

It's almost like playing for a top manager in a top league is a big factor in making the leap from potential to fulfilled potential

Yeah, let’s continue with this youth movement. They look far more invested than the lololds

This is the first time in a long time I've seen us field a team that was smart/organized enough to press effectively.

That was honestly one of the most enjoyable halves of soccer I’ve ever seen of the USMNT

The rest of the world is lucky we were nice enough to give our WC spot to those less fortunate than us.

Obvious comparison is obvious, but Weston McKennie plays like a young Michael Bradley. Hopefully he doesn't turn into an old Michael Bradley

he looks like he's better than Bradley. And is certainly better than Bradley was at the same age.

Both Weah and Sargent put in real good shifts today. Hopefully Sargent starts to get some playing time this upcoming season and we have to pray that Weah gets playing time either at PSG or somewhere else.

Not sure if Sargent will get a lot of playing time at Werder, yet. He might play with their u23s alongside Isaiah Young
