seems like the US did contact him but he's claiming nobody talked to him, prob as an excuse to save face for being a traitor

look on the bright side, at least your NT coach didn't quit(?), only to be replaced by the WNT coach

Everything I heard was us soccer contacted Monterrey but no one ever called him personally to assure him he was in their future plans.

And yes US is rudderless right now. Elections are in February after that they'll name a coach. (It's gonna be Tab Ramos)

Thomas Rongen has come out and claimed that he went to Gonzalez’ house 3 times in the past year. Rongen is the chief US scout for the MNT. Of course, he also said live on tv that Messi didn’t have a good football brain so take from that what you will.

Thomas Rongen when asked how many full time scouts the US has on Twitter.

One, but many part time. Working on changing that, it is currently in progress
A country of 370 million people has one full time scout for it’s National Team.

In all fairness there aren't that many talents to scout.

Also 370 is a bit high.

Regardless of how many talents there are, the country is ****ing massive. How is 1 guy going to go around and scout the entire country. He will be missing loads of talent out there. Not to mention the number of players who are now playing in other countries.

Incompetent, understaffed, and racist. But hey we made $100 million dollars. Wtf. Why is US Soccer worried about maximizing profit and not ****ing winning.

I knew something was really wrong when Wynalda published an open letter about his campaign for president and the focus was on transparency in vendor bids. Like wtf no one ****ing cares about that Eric. We want to win, we have talent and resources. And we are somehow going backwards!

Sounds like these guys would be perfect for US Congress. "Well we didn't get a whole lot done, but we ran a $1.5 trillion surplus!"

ya same with Kathy Carter (Soccer United Marketing president), who is supposedly one of the front-runners afaik. think she's being supported by the outgoing guy, and thought i saw that even Billy Boy Simba said that she'd be perfect for the job. oh yeah, why?
(i guess she must be connected to all the LA money ppl in his network)

US Soccer!
1. profit
2. ???
3. profit
