All of your complaining worked. The coach is starting Pulisic today against Liverpool.

It's a long season. There's lots of games. He'll get plenty of starts and plenty of match time.

I mean, lolsupercup, but they certainly had more teeth in the final third with Pulisic in the lineup than with Mount.

Looked really good at linking up Kante (MOTM) and Giroud. Impressive that he had such synergy with such titans of the game already. Too bad Giroud didn't make a run in the box on that pass in front of goal, wouldve been amazing.

I think the best part of Pulisic's game that I've seen is twofold: he recognizes where space is/will be and then he has the skill to exploit that space. Obviously he's a pretty good passer and a decent finisher but those skills are amplified unlike any other USMNTer ever (minus peak Donovan) because of his ability to exploit space. He did it on both his assist (the pass wasn't all that great tbf) and his called-off finish (which was super clean). I love watching him.

I'm trying to come up with an analogy to a more popular American sport but I'm not sure I have one. Maybe TY Hilton? peak Wes Welker?

D-Wade absolutely had similar traits exploiting space.

Thank goodness. Shame Weah is hurt but at least we have players with actual upside and a bright future in our team instead of the same bums who we know exactly what they are.
