One of his assistant coaches is a serial wife beater. Urban claimed he didn't know about the 2015 round of wife beating (following the 2009 pregnant wife beating).

Except the victim texted Shelley Meyer (nice family!) pictures and there are extensive text exchanges confirming the abuse.

He's gotta go.

Most coaches will never do a positive thing about stuff like this. It's hard though given what can you do, fire the guy, gjge, now she has a pissed off husband at home all day. Got to be very careful if you try to talk to him so he doesn't know she told on him too. I'd like to believe I'd simply explain every scenario that I can think of and see what she says about it and then whatever. Definitely do not tell her not to press charges ffs at whoever that was.

Also, no way majority of Ohio gives a ****. The fans will probably blame her for this.

Ohio State is de facto controlled by Les Wexner, who dgaf about football. I'm sure there will be a push to save him among athletic booster types, but Les dwarfs all of them in money and influence and it will ultimately be his decision.

I mean, does anyone believe that he’s on paid admin leave to give them time to “investigate” and “gather all the facts?” They know what happened. It feels like a move to give the appearance of due diligence. If they’re gonna fire him they would have done just that imo.

Urban Meyer may be a **** person but he's one of the two best coaches in college football. It's a cliche, but to be the best you have to beat the best and Meyer has tOSU in absolute top gear. I'd rather have another ten year war than to see them suck.

And even though it's somewhat enjoyable for a con artist to be outed as a lying sack of **** the underlying things that are the subject of the lies are some combination of sad and horrifying.
