The MIL now saying she "doesn't remember" these texts or that she gave her phone to Courtney to give to the police to document the history of abuse. Probably sitting around wearing an Ohio State shirt right now.

Here's an actual statement she made:

College football in Ohio is like NFL in Pittsburgh. All factors considered the wife has some credibility issues and Meyer who IMO is a POS will nevertheless probably walk with a reprimand. I don't think were getting the whole story here but the whole I did my job and notified the AD + legality of discussing publicly as it relates to issues in DV cases will get him off the hook.

Smith was being paid like a super talent doctor. It makes some sense why his benefactors were not seeking to jail him. This is just how it goes for wealthy guys.

Yeah but this was like a few days ago. He'd already been fired and they've been divorced for years.
