Saban wanted Drew Brees right? But the team doctors didn't let him get signed. Saban wins a minimum of 2 championships with Breesus as his QB, imho.

That's a pretty absurd prediction.

Brees wasn't even vgood until two years after Saban left, and even then, you have to assume so much goes right to get a single ring, let alone a second.

"Saban would've more likely stuck around for another two-three years" seems more accurate to me, and a far less sexier subreality.

It struck me as very odd that he'd even give that interview if he were in contact w both parents and the children as he claimed. Like, what's his angle? Bc you'd never do that if your priority were the family.

Almost as absurd as Tebow being given a shot at TE to begin with.

Not disagreeing with the ring talk but Brees was first team all pro in 06 and was top 3 in every conceivable stat (only 5th in QBR I guess) - his passer rating, QBR, ANY/A were pretty much identical in 06 and 08, he just threw 80 less passes
