Tbf I only live about 2 hours away on a train and it ends up costing a fair whack for me as well. Supposed to be going down for the Pool game in December though.

I hear this a lot. Kölsch is an excellent and well balanced beer imo and quite easy to brew (because it's top fermenting and you don't need a cold room). Not from Cologne, no bias just a fan of all things beer.
