Best strategy for cup equity plus enjoyment imo is minnows in the first and second KO rounds and then quarters on hope for former European Giants fallen on hard times from tiny countries.
In case people don't know, Ostersunds have a pretty interesting story the last few years. They were in the Swedish 4th tier, hired English journeyman full back Graham Potter to be their manager (his first job) in 2011. Back to back promotions, then another promotion a couple of years later to get back in the top division, then won the Swedish cup which qualified them for Europa, then upset Galatasaray in the qualifiers.
Graham Potter for England?
edit: their squad also has, among the mostly Swedes, two English lads, one Palestinian, one Iranian, one Iraqi, one Syrian and a bloke from Comorros, which I think is pretty cool.
Arsenal - Östersund was literally the best draw possible I either get to see Östersund get destroyed or enjoy some arsenalfantv. Shame it's >2 months away
