Simor, wtf happened?

Aberdeen missed a penalty then scored an OG in last minutes to put themselves out.

I'd have preferred them in but it will most likely make them stronger in the league and keep the monkeys in their place.

Yup I was at the game and it was very loud! Great atmosphere.

The new Brøndby Red Bull pressing worked well and provoked both decent protection good parts of the game (considering the talent of opposition) and most importantly provoked some mistakes for chances and goals.

Most notably Norway captain Skjelbred who basically had to come off. It was a little bit surprising how they struggled this bad considering it can't be highly unusual facing aggro pressing in the Bundesliga.

Brooks centreback partner Langenkamp also struggled and I would think that Stark (who seemed to improve things when he came on) would threaten either Langenkamp og Skjelbred, depending on what his future position really is.

One funny thing was seeing Brooks up close working/intimidating the linesman for more offside calls and calls in general which seemed to work. Brooks also became the booing target which I'm still not sure whether he really enjoyed or if it made him tilt for a short period in the beginning. Anyway he is a strong centreback who I predict will get highly paid in the future.

Overall I thought that Hertha definitely played too defensive. Sure enough they always threaten as soon as they put anything together in a quicker tempo than Brøndby can handle. Mostly just with different contributions from Darida, Mitchell Weiser, some Ibisevic link up play and Kalou pace, but once they actually started to make more forward runs with more risk their pressure became much more consistent and the other way I really don't think Brøndby would be strong enough in more meters transition and individually to seriously punish them.

Brøndby German Hany Mukhtar on loan from Benfica seems like a great scoop for their level. He is very skilled and mostly I just like how gegenpressing is such an automatic deal for him happening in the flow of his overall game like it's the most natural thing to do.

Darida is very good. That has been clear for a while now but he really could be sort of a poorer-Modric which is still excellent on some good teams. Most importantly on teams better, more interesting, more attacking than Hertha. He has the intelligence, much of the overall Modric technique and good work rate and excellent teamwork in general also.

Just bet $20 @ 6/1 and the bet went through..
Limited access to betting sites in Portugal, but the one I use has them at 11/2, so it seems correct.
Followed by Inter Milan at 15/1.

Some teams like Villareal and Porto falling should change this a bit.
