What were the odds to qualify before the game? I cant imagine thats as bad a result for liverpool as the pundits are making it out to be

The way our sky commentators were talking you'd think they watched tape from Bayern vs Barca in 2013. Calling it a renaissance, perfect away performance etc. Didi Hamann might be the WOAT.

Decent performance by Bayern compared to what they've been serving up against teams with pace this season but still lucky to keep a clean sheet.

It’s not

The nerds at 538 had it 52/48 in favor of Bayern before the match and now it’s a true 50/50

Not sure if that factors in Kimmich being suspended and Virgil back for 2nd leg though

Bayern are awful. Cut them open tonight and they hardly threatened with an awful CB and elite CM playing CB. Mane was extremely wasteful and has been off and on all season. Henderson and Fabinho were fantastic and Keita was really good too

538 does not factor in players. Also it's quite different than most of their other elo based models.

Fwiw 538 did pretty well in the world cup iirc.
