The players were not ****. TSOKDB is obviously lol pragmatic but it's being leveraged at United to unreal levels by the inherent ****ness of the team.

Should actually be thankful for 2nd and live in 2 cups Imo.

I see with this Herrera injury that Mourinho has gone from parking the bus last night to throwing his medical staff under it this morning.

DDG is the best keeper we've ever ahead, he's better than Schmeichel now imo.

Can we get Plop in the quarters, please?

I want to see LÖLbandit rooting for Plop because his my league vs your league tribalism.

Plop in the final would be great too, of course. Same LÖLbandit effect, plus PlopKlopp would get Heynckes'd for the second time in a UCL final. The only problem is, Plop gonna Plop, and they won't make it to the final.

'inherent ****ness' is itself being leveraged by the bloke's decision to repeatedly put lingard/young/fellaini/mcwhatsisname on the pitch over ppl like pogba/rashford/martial/shaw

How many transfer windows has Mourinho had at Utd? How much money spent? Time is running out on that excuse.

People (rightly) harp on Pep's reputation bc he's spent billions but at least he's always put great teams together. Mourinho's last real accomplishment was in 2010 and since then he's managed three of the richest teams in the world.

Mourinho has probably been paid well in excess of £100m over those last eight years, you can't tell me that isn't an accomplishment.

He won La Liga in 2012 and the EPL in 2015.

I agree that time and patience is beginning to wear out with a decent portion of Utd fans.

Yea I'm not watching this coverage ever again.

Most touches
Most passes, more than Matic/Pogba combined
10 key passes, entire Utd XI had 3
2 shots, 1 on target
5 Tackles
Actually painful, he was best player on the pitch and McTominay 'great performance' didn't get near him. Scholes used to be hard on United like Keano dunno what's happened to him hanging around with these other BT sport clueless wankers. Ironic that he can't recognise a performance that was actually quite like his own at his peak.

I think they are honestly like the blokes in pubs that watch a game so much from one teams perspective they don't notice anything the other team does unless it's spectacular. Or even their own players unless they are scoring goals, smashing a tackle in, doing tricks to get round people or giving it away. Everything else passes them by.

He is in a class of his own at this point. Nobody comes close imo. Our game was a great representation why he is the absolute best.

He's actually been decent recently imo but just hasn't had the service.

Yep. If Sevilla get an early goal, whether it's a fluky goal or deserved piles the pressure on us big time.

It's bizarre, it's like he's done a flip makes you wonder whats went on in the background.

Was spoiled on result, but forced myself to watch it.

Sanchez really looked like AIDS. I don't know what it is, but it seem like for the past five or so years every big acquisition that Man U gets, gets worse as soon as Man U acquires them. They're better before and somehow also better after. But while at Man U, it's like the nadir of their career.

I'm sure Mkhitaryan is going to start tearing it up soon.

i remember one typical instance where alexis got the ball a little over the half way line facing his own goal, turned on it, took a couple touches forward and found himself surrounded by four (i counted) oppo players. the only team mate in the same half as him was lukaku, who was marked, which meant there was no pass on (and anyway one of the four was in the way, so there was less than no pass on)

gl looking anything other than tripe under such circumstances

imo the only two blokes in football history that could handle that are messi, who would prolly dribble past the whole sevilla team and score, and bobby pires. he would fall over and con the ref into giving a free kick

Very happy with the performance and think they can do the same in a few weeks. There were a few times could’ve executed better on the counter (at 1-0 willian had an opportunity to play a better ball into kante’s run in the box and a possible 2-0). But overall good on the ball when we had it and not comparable to 2012 where we defended for lives.
Barca are forever going to be compared to prime xavi / iniesta years; they’re still probably competing for the best side around and you can ‘well take messi out and they’re average’ all you want but messi is goat by a clear distance, rarely gets injured and therefore defines barca. Think the strategy is perfectly fine and can’t risk allowing barca players loads of space to locate the goat (or allowing him space) to make a mockery of the opposition.

Also I’d prefer giroud / morata up top second leg to give our goat (hazard) more opportunites on the ball. We obviously need at least one goal.
