To put that result into perspective, this is from my Facebook feed:

"6 years ago we were playing Lincoln in a Rock Cup semi-final, tonight they beat Celtic in the Champions league"

Still can't believe how poor we were.

No idea why I expected anything different from same bunch of players as last season though.

Wouldn't bother mate.

Celtic are pretty piss away from home anyway but tonight was a complete disgrace. They'll still go through, I think anyway.

Their squad is just so much better than the rest of the league and if they are struggling can just cherry pick a few players in Jan to get them fine for the run in.

Rangers 2.0 don't have a team to compete yet imo and Aberdeen although their first 11 is good the rest is pants and won't have enough over the season.

Just imagine if a team wins the CL without losing any game, people will go crazy about how boring the CL is

So how "good" are Dundalk? League 1/League 2 level? FH (my Icelandic team) is playing them tonight. An Icelandic team comfortably beat a N-Irish team recently in EL qualifying, but I'm not sure how big a difference there is in Irish/N-Irish league standards.

League of Ireland teams have a bit more finance and they've had have had the upper hand most years in cross border competitions.

Just win tonight please.

Flag day for us as well but it's middle of summer and my club has no bus on. First flag day we've missed in 4/5 years

Could he get sacked if they went out? It's only mid july so no harm bringing in Moyes or someone.
