The good thing is that this pos team will go back to obscurity, where they belong, once Simeone is gone this summer.

3rd CL final in 4 years, we have a massive hill to climb ahead of us, the curse is very strong, but if anyone can do it, it's definitely us. I need to start taking Xanax before these matches or something, can't enjoy them at all.

that said, forza Juve, obviously; the fighting buffons got this.

personally, i'd like to see Simeone at the helm of the Argentinian NT next just for the sake of it but it's not gonna happen because international football is generally awful and a terrible choice career-wise so one of the chinese-/oil sheikh-run operations it is, most likely.

the estimated value of the club is still like one sixth of RM/Barca (revenue one third-ish), though.

It was but in real time hard to spot.

Athletico probably won't maintain this. They will go the way of Valencia I imagine. They can't compete revenue wise at all. Good period for them.

I still get a chuckle when I remember how they finally won v RM after 14 years, won a league title after 18 years, and they were singing how they run the capital. And then we destroyed their dreams in the CL 4 years in a row, in an absolute horrible fashion.
