I was thinking about this last night, why would we need that? I like this version way better and how often do we need to rely that much on counters? Plus I don't trust Bale sprinting at this point. I'd much rather buy some serious competition for Benzema.

I wouldn't put it past Woody to splurge 100m on Bale. And James? A SA party boy who doesn't want to leave Madrid? No thanks, it would just be AdM mkII. Not mention what a terrible fit he would be.

Yawn. Such a boring result.

It's easy to say in hindsight, but Atléti shoulda just forgotten about the away goal and bus their way to a 1-0 to keep the tie alive until Calderón.

Anyway, GG Real. Congrats RITS, I hope you orgasmed. I'm sure you did.
At least this round you actually managed to win w/o blatant riggage and/or having linos on the take like you did vs. Buyern (and Barça as well but Messi didn't care).

Can't wait for Juve or Monaco to ship this, though.

Damn right, son.

Just imagine what he could have achieved had he been playing for the richest club in the universe instead.

Oh, wait...

Walking like you've been there before is easy when it's the seventh straight year. Bayern and Manchester fans should learn by example (they've got no other way).

AdM would have worked under anyone but LVG I am convinced. James is good enough that I wouldn't be concerned about his fit either. We want world class players in any position we can get them. Priorities are up front and at the back obviously but I wouldn't say no.

World class players you say?

I don't remember James winning a World Cup.

Idk, I'd rather not spend 50m on another slow #10 that then gets played out of position on the wing. Especially if that someone feels forced out of a club he doesn't really want to leave.

I guess Griezmann poses the same fit problems too, but I'd feel more comfortable signing him nonetheless. Bernardo Silva might be the way to go though.

This.

As a 40 year Madrid supporter, I can tell you that Messi is nothing more than a highlight reel producer. If you are actually knowledgeable in the advanced tactics and Xs&Os of football, you would know that Messi is a product of his environment.

you probably don't need it anymore since Barça and Bayern are not as good as they were a few years ago, but it's clearly the style that better suits the players you have, imo.

3/1 because Monaco get 3 goals every game and GonzaLOL Higuain can't score in such a big game
