the last 4 years hes averaged about 17 and 8 i can list you prlly 7-8 big guys who have better stats then that. You cant forget about the injuries and his vulnerability in the closing minutes of game

they find out iversons PPG, APG, RPG and STL PG from 00-08 and...

find me one player in the history of the NBA has matched those numbers for 8 years of 1 decade

Obviously this isn't simply ranking the players from best to worst though(although thats the main criteria). I'm taking accomplishments into account and ignoring anything that happened outside of the decade.

Although if you cant find one player in the history of the nba that has matched this stat line can you really say that hes not top 10. Im putting him at 7th not 1-6 and he has a stat line for 80% of the decade that no player i dont think in the history of the nba has put up...and its just a list for this decade

for example the steals part is actually a negative on iverson. iverson was a below average defender in part because he gambled for all those steals. nor do stats account for defense which is a huge part of basketball.

likewise for ppg, he did it incredibly inefficently even tho he put up tons of points. there are far better offensive players who scored less ppg but did so much more efficiently. oh ya to add to iverson's crappy shooting #'s he also turns the ball more than anyone else as well.

i'll give u that iverson was a top 10 fantasy player of this decade for sure tho, but real life basketball? lol.

i would agree iversons numbers are a little glorified but only about 5-6 guys ever in nba can say they put up a stat line that no other player has..and hes number 7 not 1/2/3

omg the only reason there is nobody else is because of the ~30ppg at a horrible%, other players are smart enough to use their abilities correctly. Aside from that there is nothing special about it. (SPG easily covered by turnovers and bad defense)
