As charismatic and hilarious as Lewis is does anyone give him longer than 30 seconds in the ring with Cormier? Volkov dominated him the entire fight and if it weren't for that lucky KO it would have been done.

I am an extremely casual MMA fan but I'm all in on anything Derrick Lewis does after that interview. In fact I'd rather watch his interviews than his fights, but will watch all his fights waiting for the post-fight interview. Dude is the best

It's not even a great fight. Lewis only has 4 weeks to recover and train for a fight against Cormier. That's ridiculous. Lewis will be gassed after the first round if he even makes it out of there.

Lewis could barely walk in that fight his back is completely ****ed. I know most fighters carry injuries into the fight but his seems worse than that. In round 3 he was tottering around like an old man with a slipped disc. No chance he's close to ready for a fight vs DC in 4 weeks.

He apparently has some kind of chronic back injury. Supposedly it held him back against Ngannou.
