In a 98-person field, it's impossible for 200/1 to be -EV on pretty much anyone other than the 50+ crowd (Freddy excepted) and maybe a few random first-timers. That is an exceptional bet.

Have watched Tiger for 2 mins on GC at the short game facility. A few things

1. Almost feels like must watch TV
2. The fact that he actually showed up to the short game area where he knew every shot he hit would be on camera seems like a very good sign. He could easily practice that part of his game off site.
3. In the bit I've watched, already feeling 10x better about my bet.

Problem is how many shots does it take him to get it to the green to use that short game.

I'm sorry but how you still haven't realised he cannot turn it on and off like a tap nowadays is kinda mindboggling to me even if you are a massive fan.

But seriously, I feel good about having him at 200 to 1 after watching him in the short game area for 30 mins and then hearing he played a roughly scored ~33 on the front in his practice round.

The mind boggling part isn't the odds you got that part is just stupid on your friends part. I'm pretty sure you know what I mean as it's been pointed out to you over and over since Tiger's body broke, again.

We have heard the practise part before, not sure what makes this so different. I'd be more inclined to go with what I saw earlier in the year when evaluating his chances going into this tournament.

You must have a weird definition of funny. Rory was the clear favorite, and #1 golfer in the world, and Tiger was chipping like a 28 handicap over multiple tournaments and barely able to retrieve a ball from the cup due to his back.

If Tiger plays well again tomorrow I'm looking forward to multi-quoting dozens of irrational posts made by Tiger-haters.
