YE Yang, who has done nothing since then, didn't punk him. Tiger had a bad day, Yang didn't fold. It happens. He was 14 for 14 with the lead going into Rd 4 before that. I have no idea why the media/idiot fans don't understand statistical variance and thought that he'd go X for X over the course of a 25-30 year career when sleeping on the Saturday night lead. It was bound to happen; Yang ended up being the guy. C'est la vie.
He blew leads to start the 3rd round in both the '00 PGA and '05 Masters at the conclusion of 72 holes, only to win in a playoff anyway. It's not as if it were impossible for TW to lose when in front.

How is it not huge when it will be Rory holding the record?
I'd love to know what mathematical model someone would be using to make this prediction, considering he's 2 for 21 over the course of 5+ years. Doesn't translate to auto-getting to 18 or 19.
