Why's the bobcats one so bad? Thy have lots of cap coming off the following year with Dias Chandler and Yao ... And they get Wallace for free

The only thing I could come up with is a bunch of garbage expiring's from the Nets. The Nets do it because he helps them sell tickets, and the Rockets do it because it's basically risk free and maybe they can find some use for a guy like Josh Boone or Bobby Simmons.

There aren't non-expiring contracts that Morey would take back for him. His contract isprobably a top-ten asset in the NBA right now.

I think David West going to Houston would be pretty cool. The Hornets need to dump salary and West is good enough to justify taking his contract back for Houston. He's also better than Scola and he'll make it easy for Houston to not have to bring Scola back next year. The only problem is that New Orleans would have to basically come up with another 10 million in expirings to send Houston and they don't have it so they'd have to pretty much find a third team.

I might be sucking it up... But how else am I gonna learn...

btw, Yao is extremely loyal and all indications are that he's going to foolishly pickup his player option at the end of this year, so don't count on him being a FA.
