From 12/6-13/7 2014 the greatest football nations in the world (+Mexico) travel to Brazil to settle who is currently the worlds best.

We are here to enhance our viewing pleasure even further by partaking in some neutral ev gambling on the outcome.

Now lets have a closer look at the set up for the sweep.

The teams in each group are seeded from 1-4 by der markt. Each participant/team will recieve a 1 seed from 1 group, a 2 seed from another and so on. For a total of 4 teams each. This makes it most likely for everyone to have a sweat for the knockout.

Now over to the as tradition requires overly complicated draw.

The nations from the 1 seed will be written on seperate pieces of paper and put inside identical plastic balls. The balls are then put inside a pot(glassbowl). The 2, 3, and 4 seeds are then given the same treatment and placed in seperate pots. Finally the participants names are put inside plastic balls and placed in yet another pot.

Finished set up will be a ghetto version of this.






Each participant will recieve a team from each of the 4 seeds.

Your 1 seed and 2 seed can`t be from the same group. So if a player draws a 2 seed from the same group as their 1 seed, the team will be placed back in the pot, and a new one is drawn.

3 and 4 seeds will be picked with no restritions for who you get as the 1 and 2 seeds (so it is possible to end up with a 1,3 and 4 seed from the same group.)

The order of the draw will be to first draw a country from the 1 seeded pot. Then that country is matched up with a teamname drawn from a different pot. When all players are matched with a 1 seed, the players names are put back in the plastic balls and we draw the 2, 3 and 4 seeds in the same way.

In order to maintain the integrity of the contest, the traditional rigging of the draw will not happen.

The plan was to sell 8 200$ shares for a total prize pool of $1600. Due to popular demand 5 of the 8 shares are now co owned by two people, who each are in for 100$, and will also split the eventual prize money.

If your team wins the world cup: $900
If your team loses the final: $500
If your team has the worst goal difference in the group stage (lowest goals scored is tie-breaker): $200

Just means upping the stakes vs a diff team so like if we crossbook vs tjs team and they take first we owe them 900. If they take 1st and we take 2nd we just owe the difference etc.
