I have been friends with these 3 guys for about 30 years. They all claim they have been huge Pats fans since 1985 when we were in our early teens. I constantly remind them of a photo I have with the 4 of us from 1999 at our first fantasy football draft. One had Cowboys gear on, one was wearing Packers gear and the other had Raiders gear on lol. It's not the Pats I hate, it's some of their bandwagon fans that annoy me.

I thought this was the exact definition of "STABLISH". The whole point is that they "establish the run" to get the defense to respect the run so they can be more efficient when passing. Obviously it's now just a meme whenever any team runs the ball but saying it's not for those reasons and then explaining the exact reasoning behind the meme in the first place is a bit weird.

I think NE was right to make the effort to keep ATL's pass rush honest. Other times when teams try to stablish it just seems a lot dumber. The falcons pass rush is considered a lot better than their run defense.

I wish I could be a bandwagon fan. I've lived in SF and LA for 20+ years now. I've tried to get into various local teams. Can't do it. I'm stuck with the Chiefs forever it seems. At least I have the Royals (except for that 29-year drought). Still not over Tom Watson losing the British Open.

What's funny is people forget this call went against NE earlier in the season. I think vs NYJ they called it when Testaverde lost the ball so in this game BB said he knew they were going to change the call.
