Gronk is able to stretch the field and the Patriots have had some deep threats in the past, Moss obviously the best one, but overall they've mostly relied on their short game offense to win their games. It's very efficient. Just look at Brady's completion percentages and TD/int ratio in recent years. Sure some of that is on him being a great QB but alot of that also has to do with the system that he's in.
Mmk. Why doesn't every other league in the team do this then? I guess they should all have THE KILLER Bs and sit back in a zone and get carved up on defense too right?

ATL in position for a chip shot FG to go up 11, absolute choke. Once they punted you knew Brady was gonna march 91 yds for the tie. Just terrible. The pass call on 3rd and one was awful also.

pretty sick that dan quinn has lost to the pats in superbowl twice in the last 3 years, in the manner he did both times

When Pats had the ball 4th and 3 down 28-3, ESPN had Atlanta win percentage at 99.7%. Now that's a choke.

Re: SUPER BOWL LI: GOOD (+3) vs. EVIL (o/u 58)

hate to go too hard on matty ice but given the circumstances I think that has to be the worst 4th quarter played by a QB, ever. despite having Julio drag him to all but victory he commits two unforgivables. sack-fumble up 16 (Not a blindside sack even!) and taking the sack up 8 in that spot. sorry matt but wow

One thing I found interesting was that Ryan was the only Falcon to go out for the OT Coin Toss.

Can you imagine the takes that would have spewed out if that were Cam Newton who went out there by himself?

Think they had protection called on the strip sack and the running back blew it. Hard to blame that on the QB.

From a Pats fan perspective, the only stat that really sucks is Edelman's postseason passer rating falling dramatically after his incompletion. Before then he was a perfect 158.3

Re: SUPER BOWL LI: GOOD (+3) vs. EVIL (o/u 58)

uh, yeah very hungover. the whole thing is honestly a blur. the first half was so bad, I had written it off in the 3rd quarter, and then the last 7 minutes are a blurry drunken mess

sorry Falcons fans, that is a brutal loss. I was very willing to accept the loss bc the Falcons simply played a lot better for most of the game. Julio is ridic, the defense was so much more effective against the Pats than I thought they would be. just gotta give credit...but also realize that sometimes the GOAT is gonna GOAT and this Pats team is just so ridiculously disciplined and tough to not give up in that spot. amazing
