if Chris Jones had a more distinctive name we could just GIS him and tweet making fun of him for every picture we found of him wearing a band t-shirt, sports team shirt, or any kind of logo. YOU'RE NOT THAT TEAM/BAND/CORPORATION

Wow Lombardi. His argument against the Palmer trade is that the Raiders wouldn't have made that trade if Campbell was healthy, so they shouldn't do it now that he's hurt. Congrats on finding the one slightly valid reason FOR making one of the worst trades ever and using that reason as your lone argument against it.

To me, when they go to Toby Gerhart after Adrian Peterson, they go from a really explosive back to a slower back and the defense says "Oh thank God he's in there"

Mike Lombardi really loves the NBA analogies when talking to Simmons.

interesting. I get the impression he's a genuinely good guy.

that was the best BS Report he's done. episode started great and got progressively better 10/10.

I thought a 3rd rounder for Michael Bush was the most laughable part of the podcast.

Chris Jones' favourite band is The Weakerthans. Even though they're pretty cool, that automatically makes him a huge whiny bitch. Just fyi, for my 'Murican friends itt.

Also remember they passed him over once when they broke up the Cosell/Gifford/Meredith act, and he held a grudge about that pretty good. Whatever they tried failed miserably, so they went back to AM, and he put their feet to the fire during negotiations, really made 'em pay for the perceived snub.

Also, he was once paired with a horrible partner in the booth (can't recall who, sorry), and he never quit bitching about it. But again, I felt sympathetic to AM on this score, too. Even a prima donna can be right sometimes.

sanchez could be undefeated with 15 TDs and 2 INT and I'd still maintain that he's been garbage, based on what I've seen this year

I like how Simmons pretends he isn't rich and dropping a few grand on Kings season tickets matters to him

I don't get why he acts flabbergasted that the two sides haven't reached an agreement. It's almost assuredly part of the owners' strategy to have players miss paychecks.

Not only can he obviously afford it, it is also probably a tax deductible business expense. Also worth noting that as a major national sports writer he could easily get a press credential and go to whatever sporting event he wants to without paying for a ticket.

I think we need an April play-in tournament for the 8-seeds in both conferences just because it would be fun.

Eh. More a Canadians are aliens from Planet Polite thing than a race thing.

It's the limited intellectual capacity part that's racisty (and badly, badly worded).

What's racist about hockey being the sport with the most blue collar, lunch pail, hard working, fan favorite players
