*sexist and racist tweets/articles from ^ years ago resurfaces*

*now that you have found my smut peddling past* "well i have grown since then and now know this is wrong"

the hypocrisy is the story here, not anything barstool does.

it really sucks since pmt is brilliant and should be given a platform like television. When rumors and innuendo are enough to lose your job in 2017, and this network still employs Chris Berman and employed Sean Salisbury and Steve Phillips well after their allegations surfaced, its a ton of egg in the face for ESPN.

I will take a no bull**** outlet that doesnt try to say one thing and do another that ****s up every once in a while over the bull**** that espn tries to drag over our eyes. you know exactly what youre getting with barstool. do you believe half of what you get from espn?

I think ESPN would be a much different company had they never got acquired by Disney.

I mean, think about something like a strip club. That's going to be inherently sexual and sexist, and I imagine there are many legal documents strippers have to sign. Obviously an extreme example, but it's pretty clear when it comes to the actual entertainment aspect that these companies cannot be like a regular business.

I'm sure very few here listen to Sirius xm and rightfully so because it's mostly terrible but I actually like Brendan Haywood on the lunchtime show. Nothing complicated but he doesn't try to be analyst just a dude who played in the league talking normal

You believe that sexual harassment amongst coworkers and by superiors is necessary for good R-rated joke writing? That’s a very strange and easily disprovable take.

This is a few months late I know but has anyone heard of or read 17,776 by Jon Bois on SBNation. I'm about 3/4 of the way through (It'll take you a few sessions to get through, it's 26 chapters. Some are script with gifs, some are just videos).

It's the most preposterous, absurd thing I've ever read, but I'm also pretty sure it's completely brilliant. The basic premise, though it goes far beyond that, obv, is American football played in the year 17,776AD

https://www.sbnation.com/a/17776-football

(it remind me of something some oddball 2p2er would do.)

I like a ton of stuff Jon Bois has done, but I read a paragraph or two back it when it first came out and just noped out. Between that and the Tim Tebow CFL Chronicles, he's starting to get a little too far out there for me.

Vin Scully tweeted today that he will no longer watch NFL games because kneeling disrespects the flag and the military. Proving that Scully is an old man who should really stick to baseball.

No word yet on how many A's games he plans on never watching again.
