WAAF

It's the know-nothings and everyone else. Sadly, the groups are closer in # than anyone could've imagined.

I hope Clark or woody don't get any ideas but it's scary to think about how big of an effect on world history a Lebron assassination could have, basically Jesus-esque

Seems more like solid self-ownage. Lebron (a professional basketball player) was only able to do that because the President's own priorities involve taking to twitter to publicly uninvite professional basketball players to the White House, shortly after he got done talking about how NFL owners should fire any "son of a *****" that kneels during the national anthem.

They can be, but only if they're racist against black people. David Clarke and LOLBarkley immediately spring to mind.

Turns out, he's kind of a troll. No tact whatsoever. He missed a great opportunity. Something like this would have been nice.

"I love this country, and I respect the flag, and all that it stands for. I know that not everyone shares that same experience. I hate seeing people kneel during the anthem, but that's their right. And my goal is to do everything I can to make America into a place where people are proud and want to stand. We've got a lot of work to do."

Would that have been hard? I think people might have liked to hear that.

That you don't understand why it is impossible for Trump to say this is why ppl rip on you.

You want things to be one, but it's the other.

Actually no. It's even worse. You actually think things are this way, despite all evidence to the contrary. So the question is why do construct such a false reality and then cling to it and promote it?

The other thing that people fail to recognize is that clapping after the national anthem is disrespectful, but thousands of people, every day at every event do it, and nobody says anything.

Why is clapping after the anthem disrespectful? WTF exactly am I allowed to do before, during, and after its hallowed refrain?

Because you are signifying that you are glad the song is over. Look, I didn't make up the rules. I just happen to know some of them.

You are allowed to do nothing but stand perfectly still and silent for both 30 seconds before and after the anthem. Duh.

WTF? If I'm glad that a song I was listening to (presumably a live performance) is over I'm sure as **** NOT clapping at the end. Applause by an audience is generally taken as a sign that they ENJOYED the performance.
