You need to head the steak thread in OOT if that's the best you can picture a steak looking. Just search for sparks method and find far better grilled steaks

Pretty interesting read.

Based on my legal research I was told that pilots have final authority over who flies on their planes. So I told him that we were going to go into the airport, head to our gate, and I’d let the pilot decide whether we were allowed to fly. He told me this was impossible and that he didn’t want to have to call security on me. At this point, I had a decision to make. How far did I want to take this? Did I want to get removed by security like the Asian doctor? Get dragged out of the airport in front of my kids because my six year old had lice? So we left. But not before I said, “Just so you know, I’ll be writing all about this on the Internet.”

Before my two year old and I left Minneapolis on our Southwest flight, my six year old pulled me aside and said, “It’s all my fault that we can’t go home, daddy. I’m sorry that I have lice.”

And he was nearly crying when he said it.

I assumed getting lice as a kid was common? I remember getting it once. I played outside in the woods and **** a lot though.

We also had to spray the house for fleas a couple of times.

Maybe we were just disgusting.

ESPN's new 30 for 30 podcast seems promising. So far I've enjoyed "The Trials of Dan and Dave" (covering the 1992 decathlon and Reebok's marketing campaign) and the most recent one on Phil Ivey's controversial baccarat winnings.

Also, this:

Haven't read Peter King in a while, what's he up to?

Oh, an all-time NFL draft, that sounds like a good time waster.
https://www.si.com/nfl/2017/07/17/al...day-morning-qb

#1: Lawrence Taylor. That seems reasonable.
#2: Mean Joe Greene. Ok, seems like everyone is going defense. Cool, cool.
#3: Johnny Unitas. LOL olds

#4:
Spoiler:
Ray Guy

Quote:
A punter? Fourth overall, with players from 97 years of football history to choose from?

“I really wanted Unitas,” Fouts said afterward. “But he was taken. So I thought I would shock the world. Not that many punters had the impact Ray Guy did on a game. He came into the league the same year as me [1973], and I watched him affect games for so many years. He was such a weapon. And I thought I could get a great quarterback down the road, and I did [Terry Bradshaw, in round five].”

That draft is the worst thing I've ever seen.

Fouts took a kicker in round 4 too. Not to mention Terry Bradshaw is terrible and Aaron Rodgers was taken in round 8.

Never ceases to amaze how incredibly stupid these people are.

I've never heard of Don Hutson (and a lot of others who were picked in the early rounds), but yeah I'm sure some dude who played in the 1930s was better than Randy Moss. Nice one.

that draft was all about old footballers demonstrating how much they know about even older footballers

you should read up on your old-timey footballing. not to say Hutson was better than Moss or other recent players, but Hutson played from '35-'45 when passing was hardly a thing and if you compare him to other players at the time he was a god. it was Hutson's receiving TD record that Largent broke in the last year of his career in 1989 after it stood for 44 years.

here's a chart comparing Hutson's yards per reception, TD per reception and TD per game with the 10 players ahead of him on the career TD reception list. he leads all three categories

Moss would have had like 2 TD a game back in the 30s.

For like 3 games then he gets lynched.
