him saying "you win, my internet life is over" was basically the best/worst/funniest/saddest thing I've ever seen.

Peter berg pod cliffs:

*berg makes serious comments about his movie based on the deaths of navy seals*

Simmons: "RIGGINS is back!"

*berg makes some more serious comments about trying to truly honor the seals and tier families*

Simmons: "couple of Oscar speeches in there"

*berg tries to keep it serious and feels a tad bit awkward*

Simmons repeats: "couple of oscar speeches in there"

He is horrible with the stupid Peyton manning arguments and Pitt homerism. I haven't heard him beside the bs podcasts but I thought he was better as well.

Oh my god this. His ****ing voice is just the worst and he's a complete ****head to boot. Not doing any favors for the perception of Pittsburgh fans

The audio alone made him unbearable regardless of what he was saying.

Turned it off after 5 minutes.

Dameshek is ok when he's not talking sports; pretty funny on Carolla's pod imo.
But ya that's about as much verbal diarrhea as I've heard in a while.
Lol @ Simmons still crying about the Panthers/Jets games, as if the Saints/Browns games were totally fair.

I couldn't listen for more than 2 minutes because of audio so ill never know.

Simmons said during the Sal segment that Dameshek defended McCarthy kicking the XP down 2 in the 4th though, so he can't be too smart.

My favorite part was where they try to dismiss Manning's accomplishments because he had a "team built around him" and how manning's crew would have all been HOFers but Brady "makes other players better" through magic and sorcery. Also Manning only has good numbers because he played in a dome, which should be obviously hilarious for anyone with an IQ above 25.

And you know what? The Manifesto actually worked. When New England won back-to-back Super Bowls, I finished 14-8 against the spread in those two postseasons.
14-8! Evidence of a foolproof system and not totally explainable by variance.

This is completely arbitrary and data snooping but is both funny and sad:

Quote:
• In the last eight postseasons, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are 19-16 combined, with two Super Bowl titles.

• In the last eight postseasons, Mark Sanchez, Eli Manning, and Joe Flacco are 21-9 combined, with three Super Bowl titles.
I'm surprised he didn't add that most of group 1's games were at home, and almost all of group 2's victories were on the road (I'm pretty sure that the only group 2 victories at home were Flacco's last year v. the Colts and Eli's in 2012 v. the Falcons).

He's not writing for people on 2+2. He's writing for Joe 6 Pack that's reading his stuff while on lunch break or in the bathroom.

If you are taking his stuff seriously, you are doing it wrong. Besides, think of how many bar bets you could win offering Brady, Peyton, and Brees vs Eli, Flacco and Sanchez.

Chiefs-Colts line moved 3 points in 24 hours - it's now KC by 1.5. Colts officially a home playoff dog now. I like my Colts pick even more!
